Pristine Waters & Ice Giants: Kayaking Expedition in Northwest Greenland season 2019

Season 2019: Second long kayak expedition in Upernavik archipelago here in northwest Greenland was just as amazing as the first one! The weather was great, calm ocean, beautiful campsites with stunning views over icebergs! We paddled about 20 km per day on this one week kayak expedition and went deep in Upernavik ice fjord and near the icecap.

The temperature was more than 10 degrees Celsius most days. And on our route there where so many icebergs, in all kind of sizes and shapes.

Since the sun is up 24 hours every day we go on hiking tours in the evenings near our camp sites.
