8 DAY KAYAK TOUR IN UPERNAVIK - Ice fjord, Iceberg safari 11-19 august 2026: Day plan

 Day 1 in Upernavik (10. august)

Airport shuttle pick up in Upernavik airport.

Check-in at hotel Café de Upernavik which is located with a fantastic view towards the open sea and a little harbour in Upernavik. After check-in, the local guide will hold an informational meeting and tell you about Upernavik and what you can do here.

In the evening, a welcome dinner at the hotel is included. All food on this tour is included.

Day 2 -9 (11-19 august)

We pack kayaks and start the paddle tour

A paddle tour to Upernavik Ice fjord and return to Upernavik city.

We bring all food and cooking equipment, tents etc. for an 8 day tour.

Day 10 (20 august)

Airport shuttle pick to Upernavik airport.

Included rental of sea kayak with rudder, basic kayak equipment, rental of safety equipment incl. rental of iridium phone, riffle. 

The group is led by an experienced local sea kayak guide. Participants must be experienced kayakers.

 Food is included the price.
